I am so excited and humbled that you have stopped by. 
                                  
gracious&proper started as a small seed in my heart as a way to share my journey with others. I heard one of my favorite pastors say once,

 "Being gracious is simply treating someone better than they deserve"

What a powerful truth. It has changed my life forever. Jesus certainly did that for me and I have found myself on a journey to do the same. Learn more about my journey to be gracious here. 

Being a hostess is one of my most favorite pleasures in life. I am a Colorado native, but have always considered my self Southern at heart. I love to entertain, cook, decorate and keep my home. Using my creative gifts to serve and bless other people is such a source of joy to me and this blog is a way for me to share those things with you as well. I'm Dainele, I love Jesus, my husband, Mexican food, all things southern, the color orange and college football (go pokes!). 

I am married to my high school sweet heart, Josh. We live in Colorado where we work, spend lots of time with family and friends and he coaches high school football. I, by default, am a coaches wife- and it is an amazing blessing. To hear more about that check out the coach's wife page.
